My Sunday Photo
Abbaye de Bon Repos, which is at the western end of Lac de Guerlédan, dominates the view at this point of the Nantes-Brest canal. It is a favourite spot of ours to get an icecream at the little shop near the lock and enjoy the summer sun after walking in the woods surrounding the Lac (lake). I know the Cistercian monks who lived here in the 12th century didn’t enjoy these summer luxuries!
Knowing that Sundays often give us a chance to enjoy the little pleasures that we might otherwise be too busy during the working week to enjoy, we are now introducing a new Sunday segment on the blog called My Sunday Photo where we share a photo each week with a link to the world wide My Sunday Photo community. I’ll be sharing photos predominantly of France … because I know that’s why you’re all here, but over on the link you will find many other great photos to put a smile on your Sunday face!
