About us …
“Being true Francophiles, we love all things French. So much in fact, that in 2009 on a family holiday we came home with beautiful soaps, gorgeous linens, antique market finds and a holiday house!!
Since then, we have returned to spend school holidays in France, getting to know our rich and colourful villagers, our local region and beyond. Not to mention the odd visit to Paris or two. We thought we would share our ideas, experiences and special finds that keep our love alive whilst we attend to our daily work, school and church commitments in Australia.
We will share with you where to find books that have, and continue to, enlighten our minds; places to purchase special home wares and exquisite clothes; movies to enrich our lives, food to feed our loved ones, art to admire and travel destinations to lust over. Our site was born out of a desire to share our finds and experiences with fellow Francophiles. Please enjoy with us.
Follow our Newcastle family as we share some weird and wonderful French experiences, interesting finds, great photos of France and simple ways that we can enjoy the life we are all blessed with no matter where we live.”
Our village, our home bathed in sunshine and covered with snow!
