Bonjour my friends!
Well, June is already getting busy in France and it’s exciting watching the preparations for the Olympic Games. The Olympic rings are now displayed and looking incredible on the Eiffel Tower after eight months of careful planning and rehearsal.
The Olympic Flame has passed through my (almost) local towns of Pontivy, Rochefort-en-Terre and Vannes. A few of my friends have joined in the street crowds and cheered the Flame on.
Some other cool celebrations and events during June are National Rosé Day (that was yesterday and we celebrated, did you?), Fête de la Musique, Le Mans 24 race and for the whole of June we can enjoy National Rose Month.
Take a read of our latest post all about Provence and the summer bubbly pink Rosé wine and our most gorgeous and updated post about French roses and National Rose Month. I’ve added a bunch of pretty rose photos taken during my trips around France. Have fun this weekend!
