Australian Gothic Styled Cathedral
France is so overflowing with breathtaking Cathédrales, Châteaux and Palaces that you need never travel further than most local villages without being able to admire yet another fine example of architectural history.
The abundance of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassical and Gothic Revival structures living side by side with modernism and post modernism buildings has made the French, I believe, a little nonchalant about the diverse history they dwell amongst. As a visitor to France however, I cannot be but sometimes overwhelmed, awestruck and envious of the rich heritage of this European country.
